As outlined in the Informed Consent Form, this study uses location data from your smartphone. Location data allows us to better understand social movement. That includes the amount of time that is time spent outside of the home. Previous research* has shown that GPS-based data (location data) is useful in telling the difference between behaviors of individuals with and without cognitive problems. Allowing location permissions will help researchers learn more about people with mild cognitive impairment & Alzheimer’s for the Minds 2021 Study.
